Care To Think will represent the SPC in Saturday’s week $1.3 million The Kosciuszko (1200m) at Royal Randwick after publican David Barnhill struck a deal with trainer Matthew Dunn and connections.
Care To Think made his first public appearance on Sunday since a throat operation and scored a commanding six-length trial win.
He ran 59.24 for the 1000m trip on a soft six surface.
Care To Think will go straight into The Kosciuszko first-up and is the $3.50 favourite with TAB.
Wagga will also be represented by the Scott Spackman-trained O’ So Hazy in the feature race, who is a $26 chance.
