Spackman was ‘over the moon’ with O’ So Hazy’s work on the course proper in what was her final public outing before the big race on Everest day at Randwick.
Spackman is leaning towards taking off her ear muffs and applying blinkers for the first time in The Kosciuszko after working in both on Saturday.
“She went good, really nice. Her work was A1 I thought,” Spackman said.
“We were just trialling something with her, with the ear muffs and blinkers, but I don’t think we’ll go that way.
“I think she’ll wear blinkers on the day and take the ear muffs off.”
O’ So Hazy will now stick to her usual routine before travelling to Sydney on Friday week.
