Sutherland has started the new season with a flurry of winners, enjoying four wins last weekend between Gundagai and Griffith.
Eight of Sutherland’s last 50 starters have all been winners, giving him a strong start to the new season.
Sutherland will take a team of nine horses to the six-race Ag Races card at Wagga, headed by three last-start winners in Yawkey Way, Kappy Cino and My Maher.
Allan Chau, Mick Travers and Jon Grisedale will share the riding duties.
The first race at Wagga on Saturday gets underway at 1.36pm.
He will then head to Corowa on Monday with another big team of eight horses for the seven-race card there.
