That’s the view of United coach Travis Weir, who believes the club’s culture has undergone a major shift since their first outing back in April.
“There’s a real willingness to work hard at the moment and that’s something I don’t think the club’s seen for a while,” Weir said.
“It’s a great culture we’ve got going on here ... we’ve got some good depth at the moment and I think we’re playing good footy as well.”
United haven’t lost a game in five weeks, but they’ll need something special to topple cross-town rivals Tolland this weekend.
The second-placed Wolves have dropped just two games this season and edged the men in orange 2-1 at Rawlings Park back in May.
However, Weir is backing his troops to hand Tolland their third loss on Sunday.
“We probably had five injuries against Leeton before the break but we’re hopeful we’ll have a full squad this weekend,” Weir said.
“Everyone’s raring to go and they only just got over us last time, so we’ve definitely got a point to prove.”
Nazar Yousif and Oscar Wills will be among those returning to boost United’s starting side.
