Roddy was a casualty at Equex Centre as the Blues unbeaten start to the season was ended.
Co-coach Dean Bristow expects he will miss at least the next two weeks.
“He has to have scans and we will take it from there, but he’ll probably be out this week and next week at the minimum,” Bristow said.
As the Blues look to rebound against Junee at Laurie Daley Oval on Sunday, Bristow admitted they will be without a huge part of their team.
“He is obviously one of the older and more experienced players and we don’t have a great deal of experience in the team,” he said.
“To lose someone like Ben does leave a huge chunk in the squad.”
Brothers coach Terry Westblade was far from impressed with his side’s performance in the 34-16 win and Bristow was very disappointed with his team’s effort.
Coming off wins against Young and Kangaroos to start the season, the five-eighth thought they “showed a few cracks in the armour”.
“We completed at 33 per cent in the first half and the overall completion rate was 43 I think and we don’t give ourselves any chance when he play like that,” Bristow said.
“They probably didn’t play their bets footy either which allowed us to stay in the game a little bit.
“If we play a side that goes a bit better then we are no chance.
“We just didn’t give ourselves a chance unfortunately.”
The Diesels are also looking to respond after picking up their first loss of the season against Albury on Sunday.
