The Wagga club inflicted Tumut’s first loss of the season with 34-16 win at Equex Centre on Saturday but the number of errors made didn’t impress the coach.
“I’m not particularly pleased,” Westblade said.
“We had a really high error rate and I don’t think we completed the set after the kick off once and we have plenty of practice.
“There are so many little things where we weren’t good.”
Harold Kirby scored a hat-trick in the win and the Brethren’s ability down the edges was one of the things that actually pleased Westblade.
The left side of Kirby, Peter Little and Ed Ansell was particularly damaging while Aaron Wynne made a difference after missing last week.
Brothers tackle Temora next week and Westblade wants to see more from them.
“We have a lot of improving,” he said.
