After 16 months with accounting firm Paisley Robertson Andrew Morrison has stepped into the shoes of outgoing director Gary Cheney.
Mr Morrison has been appointed director of the accounting firm this week following Mr Cheney’s decision to scale down his workload after 18 years in the role.
Mr Morrison joined Paisley Robertson in March 2015 bringing with him almost two decades of experience in both rural and metropolitan accounting firms.
As a member of the CPA Australia, a registered tax agent, Justice of the Peace and licenced super fund adviser, Mr Morrison – who was born and raised in Wagga - is excited to add the term director to the list.

“After 18 years of study and practical work, moving into a directors role is a natural progression; the next step,” he said.

Mr Morrison now joins fellow Paisley Robertson directors Bernadette West and Michael Graham.

Not ready for retirement Mr Cheney will continue to work at the firm three days a week assisting clients in the role as a consultant with full faith in Mr Morrison’s appointment.

Paisley Robertson also welcomes Natalie Payton as business services manager for its Wagga office, taking over from Regina Rheinberger, who has moved from Wagga.
Natalie is a welcome addition to the team having grown up in Coolamon and completing her studies at CSU Wagga.
She became a CPA member in 2012.
