During a summer filled with rain, wind and thunder storms, Wagga residents have taken full advantage of a long-awaited weekend of consistent sunshine.
Families and friends flocked to the region's rivers, pools and parks as temperatures sailed over the 30 degree mark, putting their COVID worries to the side to savour some fun in the sun.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the warm weather and clear skies are expected to continue on Monday however it will not be long before the heavens open up once again.

The BoM predicts up to 30 millimetres of rain will descend upon the region across Tuesday and Wednesday, with maximum temperatures dropping down to 24 degrees.
Temperatures are then expected to increase to 27 degrees on Thursday and Friday along with light showers, before the week is rounded off with yet another rainy weekend.
The city has been treated to higher than average rainfall over summer due to the current La Nina weather phase, which is expected to continue until August.
