Looking to step up for her second placing on Friday, on Australian debut after arriving from New Zealand, the mare justified her skinny $1.18 quote with an all-the-way win in the Steel Supplies Pace (1740m).
The four-year-old had to work hard in the hot conditions to secure her first career win, after Matthew Harris' second favourite Beyond Bling ($5.50) stuck on gamely down the straight.
Kennedy won five races at Leeton's New Year's Day meeting, while Painting and Kennedy also enjoyed success with Just Rocknroll at Cobram on Sunday night.

"Dan (trainer Dan Carroll) always says if you keep him on the bridle he'll keep running," Hogan said.
"We were looking for a run at the 400 and ideally I didn't want to go wide, but it was the only spot we could go with the congestion."
