Tilyard took on a dual coaching role with sister Olivia in 2021, but her departure to Victoria means Brooke will take over the reins.

After dropping their first four games, the Tigers recovered well to secure a top five spot before the Riverina League finals were cancelled due to COVID.

Key defender Rhiannon Podmore, who missed all of this season after rupturing her ACL in round one, won't return, while Stacey Curran will be another notable omission.

"I've had a fair bit of experience in coaching, after a couple of years off it was about getting back into it," Brooke Tilyard said.

"For me it was learning how girls play and their different personalities, how they like to get feedback.

"It just came down to having quite a few younger players in the team and consistency comes with experience.

"I have a lot of confidence in our younger girls. Obviously like all teams you need to balance that with experience so we're looking to find some of that that, and that will be locked in in the future."

Allen, Olivia Tilyard's coaching predecessor, took out the Tigers' best and fairest award for this year.

She believes Brooke's communication with the younger brigade coming through should pave the way for another strong season.

"She has a really good way of explaining things to the younger girls and how she wants them done," Allen said.

"I think that will be really good structure wise for us. Those younger girls having a set structure on how we want to play will help them a lot in the long run.

"Given how young the girls are we are actually pretty excited about what they could do next year, especially if we can keep a similar team.

"We're still learning how each other plays a bit more, but having that year under the belt will be very beneficial for them.

"Hopefully we can just carry through on what we started this year and go from there."
