The Andrew Dale-trained three-year-old filly ($4.80) led from start to finish to register a dominant 1.3-length win over Redollix ($3.30) in the Kennedy Builders, Mulwala Class 2 Handicap (1300m).
Strawberry Swing now boasts three wins, all on good tracks, and a runner up finish in four starts at Corowa, with Travers also in the saddle for her victory on December 16.
All three of her career wins in 12 starts have come at the venue, with the previous two coming over 900m. The only time she hasn't graced the winner's stall at Corowa was on a heavy track in July.
"She's had three wins here, every times she's come here she's performed well," Travers said.
"It was a surprise (today), to be honest. She does so much wrong, but because she got an unchallenged lead she didn't fire up and we got away with some nice sections.
"She's an out and out leader, she hangs pretty bad if you ask her to do anything she doesn't want to do."
Travers continued a strong day later in the card when he piloted $70 longshot Searchlight, whom he also trains, to fourth in the Corowa Maiden Handicap (1400m). It was a blanket finish for the minor placings behind strong winner and favourite Victory Chuckle.
"I thought I ran second at the time, but it was great to see him improve," Travers said.
Fellow Wagga hooper Nick Heywood also saluted on Canberra trainer Nick Olive's $2.25 favourite Temoin Chaud ($2.25) in the Benchmark 66 Handicap (1400m)
Meanwhile, Tumut Turf Club have rated their annual Boxing Day meeting a success despite pressure on jockey numbers.
A crowd of around 1400 attended the traditional big day amid relief that forecast thunderstorms failed to eventuate, particularly after the club had a pick-up meeting in November washed out twice in a row.

"We were really, really happy with it. We had a great crowd turnout and it seemed to be a good family event," Tumut Turf Club secretary Alicia Hargreaves said.
Apprentices dominated the meeting with Molly Bourke and Jess del Frari claiming doubles and Teighan Worsnop winning the last.
Albury also held a five-race non-TAB meeting on Boxing Day, as did Queanbeyan (although the latter was abandoned after two races due to storms).
"We did have a lot of scratchings and we put that down to a lack of jockeys. We're not sure exactly what impacted the jockey numbers, whether it was isolations due to COVID or a lot of races," Hargreaves said.
There were 11 scratchings across the first two races, and three across the last two events, however all races saw fields of between six and eight runners.
Tumut's next raceday is its TAB meeting on Saturday January 15, followed by the Tumut Cup meeting on February 12. Both are set to be six-race cards.
Gundagai has a five-race meeting on New Years Day with local hope Thistledo among 11 nominations for the $13,000 Adelong Cup.
