
WAGGA children were beyond thrilled to see Santa Claus up close and personal on Tuesday at the Botanic Gardens.
But Mr Claus didn't come empty-handed, instead, he was bearing gifts of the sugary kind, and he wasn't alone either.

Mr Claus was accompanied by Wagga Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) team members who helped dish out the lollies to the eager children.

The VRA join Mr Claus every year for the VRA annual Santa Run which runs over three days and see's Mr Clause visit various Wagga suburbs.
The run came to an end on Tuesday, with the Botanic Gardens being one of Mr Claus' very last stops as part of the Santa Run, however, he will no doubt be making other appearances across the city leading up to Christmas.
Mr Claus also made stops at Glenfield Park, Mount Austin, Tolland and Ashmont.
