But that doesn't mean he's not excited.
On Sunday night, the Christmas Twilight Market will be holding its inaugural Wagga event.
About 85 stalls will be set up across the Botanic Gardens, selling everything from exotic food to handmade candles.
Market manager Grace Pryor was excited to finally bring the travelling event to the Riverina and said she was anticipating a fun and vibrant night in the gardens.
"We've got a whole heap of specialty stores including really unique stalls like a gentleman who makes bird cages," Mrs Pryor said.
"There's also going to be live music and we're a registered charity with most of the money we raise from the gold-coin entry going to helping disadvantaged children."

The event is also looking to provide local Wagga children a foot in the door to the world of employment. Six local high schoolers have been hired to work at the markets on the night and Mrs Pryor will spend the night showing them the ins and outs of event management.
"We pay them a wage and they help set up the markets, pack up the stalls and I take them around and let them interact with the whole operations side," she said.
"It's all about breaking that barrier, giving them that experience and helping improve their social skills."
Among those working on the night is Jake Flanigan, a 17-year-old student at Indie School Wagga.
"It seemed like a good opportunity to get experience and know how to work in a good and safe environment," Mr Flanigan said.
"I'm a tad nervous but also very excited. I think it's going to be decently challenging but nothing I can't take."
The initiative has been welcomed by the teachers and parents of the high-schoolers getting involved, including Lyndsey Longman, whose two daughters will be working on the night.
"I think it's a really great idea," Mrs Longman said. "This is the first time either of them have had paid employment so I'm hoping it will give them some confidence."
The markets will run from 4pm to 8pm and will be held in Wagga on the fourth Sunday of each month.
