The club purchased a state of the art clock for club nights and carnivals after it was one of a number of centres successful in gaining funding from Coles Little Athletics Community Fund.
Kooringal-Wagga's acting president in the grant process, Steven Priest, said the new equipment allows athletes to see exactly how they're performing.
"The Coles grant allowed us to purchase a track race clock which will be integrated with the timing gates," Priest said.
"The new race clock will provide increased motivation for our athletes which will deliver some more positive results on the track and athletes will be able to push themselves further to achieve their own personal bests.
"This sort of professionalism also assists in reducing the barriers for country athletes by providing them with similar technology and environment to our metropolitan counterparts."
Kooringal-Wagga was one of 104 clubs around the country to get a share in the total of $343,000 in the latest round of funding.
Coles said the latest round of grants brings their funding for sports equipment to more than $2 million in the past three years and they want to help develop the next generation of Olympians, particularly with Brisbane to host the 2032 summer Olympics.
Three-quarters of Australia's track-and-field team at Tokyo this year started out in Little Athletics.
