Narrandera have kicked off their recruitment campaign in style with the signing of accomplished Canberra footballer Ben Jamieson.

The Eagles' bid to climb up the Riverina League ladder will be boosted by the addition of Jamieson, who arrives at Narrandera with an impressive background.
Jamieson made his North Eastern Australian Football League (NEAFL) debut as a 17-year-old for Canberra Demons against Sydney Swans.
He has been a key member of Ainslie's AFL Canberra team in recent years and won the Alex Jesaulenko Medal for best-on-ground in Ainslie's 2018 grand final win.
Narrandera coach Shaun Brooker was thrilled to welcome Jamieson on board.
"Ben's a forward and mid, he's not overly tall but he's a very athletic kid," Brooker said.
"He's played a lot of good footy at Ainslie. He played in a practice match for us last year and we couldn't quite get him over the line, he wasn't ready to leave so we're really happy to have him on board."
Jamieson is the first signing for Narrandera under Brooker and newly-appointed assistant coach Luke McKay.
McKay was a revelation in his first year at the Eagles and will step up to the assistant's role, while former coach Jordan Hedington will remain on as a player, adding to Narrandera's on-field leadership.
The club is hopeful that Jamieson will be the first of a few recruits, who they hope to get over the line in coming weeks.
It will help off-set the loss of Luke Paterson to Barellan, while the club is also likely to lose Angus Durnan to Deniliquin.
The Eagles are disappointed to part ways with Durnan after being impressed with what he brought to the club in his one season.

Brooker expects the departure of Durnan to provide an opportunity for the likes of Ferg Inglis and Theo Metcalfe to step up and take on greater responsibility.
The experienced Narrandera coach is happy with the response from his playing group already.
"We've had three or four runs before Christmas and the numbers have been awesome. We've had 30 there each night, which is really good," Brooker said.
"If we can get a few of these other guys we're talking to, we should be ok."
