Firefighters suspect the blaze was ignited in both the bedroom and living room of the Bardia Street property, which are separated by a hallway.
Three units from the Turvey Park and Wagga Fire and Rescue stations responded to reports that a house was ablaze just after 12am on Tuesday morning.
The single-level home was well alight when units arrived and the overhead power lines were also on fire.
Four firefighters, each wearing breathing apparatus, cut electricity and gas to the property before entering.
The property is believed to be uninhabited as no furniture or personal content was found on site.
However, the property itself has been left severely damaged from heat and smoke, with it taking half-an-hour for firefighters to extinguish the blaze.
Police and ambulance crews were also present at the scene and investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.
Neighboring homes were unaffected by the incident.
