Some 150 students from Riverina Dance Academy performed at the Victory Memorial Gardens on Saturday afternoon in a variety of styles, including contemporary, jazz, tap and musical theatre.
Artistic director Anne Reardon said that for most of the performers it was their first time on stage.
"All sorts of things have been in the way, like COVID and the weather, but we've woken up to a sunny day and we're so excited," she said.
"[The students] have been preparing all year for a show at Christmas."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The dance studio's youngest dancers, the "tiny tots" aged two to six, took to the stage early in the afternoon before the rest of the students performed at around 4pm.
"We've got a lovely big audience of parents and friends but for our tiny tots we always have a lot of grandparents, so it's lovely to see all the generations together," Mrs Reardon said.
