Wagga played host to start of the representative competition, however Riverina failed to win any of their three matches at Robertson Oval across the weekend.

First in a 50-over match, Riverina suffered a seven-wicket loss when ACT Southern Districts passed their total of 185 in the 34^th over.

They then struggled to chase in the two Twenty20s on Sunday.

Riverina fell 40 runs short of Western's 1-183 before Greater Illawarra posted 4-127 while Riverina managed 8-104 in response.

The competition continues on January 4 with clashes against Central Northern, Central Coast, North Coastal and Newcastle in Newcastle.
