South Wagga ready to make return after washouts

The Blues have played more cricket than most of their rivals so far this season, after getting off to a good start in their round three clash against Wagga RSL before rain intervened.

Captain Luke Gerhard believes there has been plenty of positives to draw upon ahead of a clash with St Michaels at Geoff Lawson Oval on Saturday.

However he admitted it's been tough with so many interruptions.

"It's exciting to get a game in to kick start the season after what has been a very strange start," Gerhard said.

"It's hard to get motivated into a season like this but we've shown some good signs in both games.

"The second game we looked really good with the bat so hopefully we can continue on."

South Wagga have been forced to make one change with Noah Harper playing Bradman Cup. Connor Willis will take his place.
