O'Hehir has linked with Woolgoolga for next season.
Inglis is also heading to the competition, with the Queensland State Of Origin star playing with his hometown club Macksville, while Burgess will coach Orara Valley.
O'Hehir is looking forward to the challenge.
"It should be really good," O'Hehir said.
"I didn't know a lot about it until this year but they've got some good signings.
"Greg Inglis is playing for Macksville, Sam Burgess is coaching Orara and I think that will bring a lot of interest into the comp.
"It might bring some other potential recruits to the comp as well."
The chance to take on some big names has O'Hehir even more excited about the move.
"They are two players I grew up watching so to be able to potentially play against Sam and definitely against Greg is amazing really," he said.
O'Hehir returned to Gundagai two seasons ago after making the move to London and playing for the Hammersmith Hills Hoists.
However he believes the Seahorses is the right fit.
"I base where I go off the team name," O'Hehir joked.
The talented fullback farewelled Gundagai with victory in the club's best and fairest.
O'Hehir enjoyed another outstanding season for the Tigers, highlighted this week by being named best and fairest for 2021.
He was also named player's player.
It was the second consecutive year he has taken out both the King Tutty Memorial best and fairest and the player's player.
The 27-year-old was pleased to be recognised for another strong season after shifting back to fullback in 2021.
"It was really good," O'Hehir said.
"Obviously it would have been really nice to see out Gundagai with a premiership but it wasn't to be.
"It is nice to be recognised but it could have gone to anyone in that team.
"I thought we were finishing really well but I'm sure they will be fine next year."
In other awards, Royce Tout won Gundagai's best forward award for the second straight year. Evergreen centre Damian Willis took out the Garth Molloy best back.
Zac Fairall was rewarded for an impressive season in first grade by taking out the Reg Wheeler rookie of the year.
Jake Elphick won the Dale Cadman best non-contracted player, while Mark Elphick claimed coach's award.
In the other grades, Eddie Brook won the Sullivan Cup best and fairest. Jack Lloyd was named Weissel Cup best and fairest, while the Kangaroos'-bound Will Herring took out the top award in Burmeister Shield.
Monique Bullock took out the leaguetag best and fairest to go along with the player's player award while Stephen Gill was the club's leading pointscorer.
Gundagai, who celebrated their centenary this year, were crowned Group Nine club champions.
