The State Emergency Service has lifted a minor flooding on the Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai on Friday.

As of Friday morning, the Bureau of Meteorology reported the Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai's level at 5.76 metres and falling after a peak of 5.93 on Thursday evening.
"The Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai peaked slightly below the minor flood level on Thursday evening," SES stated.
"Forecast rainfall may cause renewed river level rises over the weekend. This situation is being closely monitored."
Wagga CIty Council has advised that Kohlhagens and Armstrongs Reserves are closed and Mundowy Lane is expected to be affected after lunch on Friday.
The SES advised that heavy rainfall over the past week has caused river level rises along the Murrumbidgee River downstream of Burrinjuck Dam.
