Wagga Cricket Association called off all junior cricket on Friday.
It was due to start on Friday evening, with more grades on Saturday morning.
A decision on senior cricket is yet to be made, but certainly the lower grades would appear unlikely to go ahead.
Wagga Softball Association cancelled all round two games that were set for Saturday.
It continues a tough start for the Premier League competition, who also had their opening round washed out last Saturday.
"With more rain on the way and the diamonds already very wet all Saturday games are cancelled," a Wagga Softball Association announcement read.
Wagga Softball Association will make a decision on men's games on Monday.
Both golf club championships, at Wagga Country Club and Wagga City Golf Club, are still set to go ahead on Saturday and Sunday.
The second day of the Snake Gully Cup carnival is also still going ahead as planned.
