A truck driver has been taken to hospital and part of the Hume Highway remains closed after a crash near Tarcutta overnight.

Emergency services were called to the southbound lanes of the dual carriageway around 2.30am, responding to reports of a truck rollover.
When they arrived, they found a B-double had tipped and come to rest on its side just past Keajura Road, around 20 kilometres south of Tarcutta.

The driver of the truck, a man believed to be aged in his 50s, sustained cuts to his face and in shock, a spokesperson for NSW Ambulance confirmed.
He was taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a stable condition.
One of the southbound lanes of the highway remains closed and motorists will need to allow extra time for their journey and exercise caution.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
