NSW Rugby League announced their statewide plan for 2022 and beyond just last week.
Despite the limited preparation, the majority of clubs are on board for its introduction across the board.
All were given the chance to query Wagga-based Greater Western and South Western Zone Manager David Skinner David Skinner on what impacts it would have.
Group Nine chairman Andrew Hinchcliffe believes the system could create more sustainability for Group Nine clubs.
"I think it is a healthy thing for the broader NSW Rugby League community," Hinchcliffe said. "Having competitions that are sustainable and as even as possible is in the best interest of the game from all aspects.
"In time I'm sure that will play out and it certainly has the potential to drive up club culture, for clubs to take a real sustainable approach to the way they build their teams and invest in their junior base.
"It could even create a bit of tribalism back between clubs as there will be that junior connection and less player movement, which can only benefit the game in the longer term."

All clubs will have 100 points next season.
The amount will differ for 2023 depending on where they finish on the ladder with the premiers only able to use 75 per cent of their quota.
There is a five per cent increase for each step down the ladder until it reaches teams that miss finals, who will have the full allocation.
Hinchcliffe believes the new system won't affect too many clubs in the short term.
"I'm pretty confident most of the clubs aren't going to see a great deal of impact, which was pleasing," he said.
"Clubs were provided what it looked like with their 2021 squads."
Meanwhile there are still plenty of doubts over Junee's future in the competition.
The Diesels didn't field a first grade team in 2021, nor a Sullivan Cup side, but have announced Damon Fraser as their new head coach.
Group Nine will hold their annual general meeting in December, a date which gives Junee more time to scope out their situation.
