Wagga trainer Chris Hardy continues to have plenty of success with Zakeriz.
On the quick back up after a second at Murrumbidgee Turf Club on Saturday, Zakeriz dominated his rivals to take out the Twin Hills Cootamundra Cup (1600m) on Friday.
Nyssa Burrells took advantage on a good draw to lead the field with $3.20 favourite Ready To Humble sitting on their outside.
Setting a strong pace throughout, Zakeriz kept his rivals well at bay after straightening to go on to defeat Ready To Humble by more than three lengths.
It continues to a great run Hardy has had with the seven-year-old.
Zakeriz provided the experienced Wagga horseman with his first win in four years last June.
It was the start of a hat-trick which was completed with a Highway Handicap victory at Rosehill.
He was second in another Highway in his following start before four unplaced efforts was broken at Wagga.
