After months of lockdown, a very well-shod crowd stepped out for the Aggies Race Day on Saturday with some of the boldest outfits competing in Fashions on the Field.

Judges Amanda Causer and Rebecca Hillis were thrilled to be back at the event and cast a keen eye over the hopeful fashionistas.
"I'm looking for something a bit fresh," Ms Hillis said ahead of the competition. "I like a bit of individuality and confidence in your look."
For fellow judge Amanda Causer it was all about the details.
"I like good attention to detail with their bag and shoes," Ms Causer said.
"It's important they're not holding their hat for example, they need to have it secured to their head because its windy conditions."

Categories included Best Dressed Couple, Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Millinery and Best Dressed Lady.
Yass attendee Alison Jones took out the coveted Best Dressed Lady in a keen competition.
"It's great to be back, it's so nice being out," Ms Jones said.
She said she had recycled some parts of her award-winning wardrobe.
"The top was actually a mini dress I converted to a top, and the skirt is by Sovata millinery in Canberra and my hat is form a lovely lady in Victoria," she said.
Best dressed millinery was nabbed by former Wagga student Sammy Cormie who wowed the judges with a feathered creation.
"I'm very happy to be here, I really miss Wagga," Ms Cormie said.
Dapper gentleman Viv Harris took out the Best Dressed Male award in bold, red velvet suit while Best Dressed Couple went to Celina Gray and Sam Herbert.
