Queensland Health Minister Yvette D'Ath says authorities are confident a COVID-19 outbreak in the state's southeast is "under control".

The state released more than 900 families from home quarantine on Monday after they tested negative for the virus despite coming into contact an ill four-year-old girl at a school and a daycare centre in the Beenleigh area.
Queensland has recorded no new locally-acquired cases since the girl's mother tested positive on Saturday and a truck driver tested positive on Thursday.
"We're so confident with the testing results with the kids from the early learning centre that we believe we've got this under control," Ms D'Ath told ABC Radio on Tuesday.
"So well done to Queensland again."
The health minister also clarified Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young's comments on Monday urging people to book vaccine appointments with GPs because some of their doses were being unused.
However, Royal Australian College of General Practitioners head Bruce Willett said GPs had been using all doses of Pfizer provided.
"I'm not sure how that message got through," Dr Willet told ABC radio on Tuesday.
"My only thought is that the story's got a little bit lost in translation as the story's come through from the Commonwealth to the state."
Ms D'Ath said Commonwealth had provided data showing 80 per cent of vaccine doses were being utilised in the primary care rollout.
She said that may be because the Commonwealth was holding jabs in reserve for when more GPs joined the rollout or it may be being holding them to guarantee second doses.
Queensland has the lowest vaccination coverage in the country, with 53.33 per cent of eligible people having had one dose and 34.75 per cent fully vaccinated.
The health minister said it was unfair to criticise the state for its slow rollout when had been using all doses supplied, more supplies were going to NSW due to the outbreak, and Queensland GPs were receiving 60 per cent of deliveries.
"We've got mass vaccination centres sitting here, ready to vaccinate people, we need more vaccine," Ms D'Ath said.
Dr Willet said there had been complacency and hesitation due to the belief that COVID-19 would not break out in Queensland.
Vaccines preferencing, he said, was getting ridiculous, with stories that people were "waiting for Moderna" and even "the Chinese one".
"It's a bit like being on a sinking ship and, you know, having a fight about which life raft or which brand of life jacket you'll use," Dr Willet said.
He also lashed out at anti-vaxxers, who he said had been booking GP appointments but not turning up in a deliberate attempt to waste jabs.
"Which I think is ... borderline criminal, and it's actually taking the rights of other people who want to receive the vaccination, to make it less available for them," Dr Willet said.
