WAGGA trainer Gary Colvin is confident there is considerable upside to Another One heading into Thursday's $35,000 Ian Reid Sprint (1200m).

Murrumbidgee Turf Club will play host to one of the strongest races, outside of carnival time, in recent memory when a number of Kosciuszko contenders clash in the feature sprint.
The Ian Reid Sprint headlines a strong eight-race showcase card.
Another One is the $2.80 favourite and main attraction as he takes his first step towards what connections hope is a run in the $1.3 million Kosciuszko (1200m).
It will be Another One's first appearance under race conditions since running second in the $500,000 Country Championships. He tuned up for his first-up assignment with a second placing in a recent barrier trial at Wagga.
Colvin is looking forward to Another One's return to the track but warned potential Kosciuszko slot holders there is still plenty of improvement in his stable star.
"He's very good. He's got a nice draw, which is unbelievable. You've got to get good draws," Colvin said.
"I think there will be plenty of pace on and I'd like to sit in just behind the pace and have the last crack at them.
"It's a good field but, a red-hot field and we're not real primed up for it so we're going to have to pill out all stops because a couple of the horses there have been running and we haven't. And we've got a lot of weight too."
Nick Heywood will again ride Another One, who will carry 60.5 kilograms on Thursday. It is one and a half kilos more than he's ever carried and is taking on open company for the first time.
"He's just been crucified for winning the Championships here and running second in the final," Colvin said.
"It's hard. It's hard for us. What do you do? They just want you to take them to town. You wouldn't get much of a harder race than this though would you? It's a good strong race for him first-up I reckon."
Colvin is yet to decide on a path forward after Thursday. Kosciuszko slots are drawn in two weeks, on September 9.
"We're hoping he'll get home but he'll improve out of sight after this run, I reckon. He's still carrying a bit of condition," he said.
"Whatever he does, I'll make a decision after he runs, what we do. Either give him another run or just poke him around in a trial. He's a fresh horse, when he's fresh, he wants to race so we'll keep him pretty fresh."
Colvin has a four-pronged attack in the Ian Reid Sprint. His second stringer is metropolitan winner Forever Newyork, who is first-up since May.
Forever Newyork has drawn wide in barrier 14 but the claim of Hannah Williams gets him in with 55.5kg. Colvin has his sights on another crack at the $250,000 Magic Millions Country Cup at the Gold Coast in January, a race Forever Newyork was a luckless fifth in this year.
"I've got a long-range plan for him," Colvin said.
"There's a few open handicaps for him to run in, much the same as last time. He ran a big race in the Country Cup and I'd love to get him up there again. It's not an overly strong race for that type of prizemoney.
"It all depends on how he comes back but he's going to need the run. He's still pretty big. The only way to get him fit is racing him because he's a big sort of grossy horse and he'd do good on a tar road if you put him out, he's just one of those horses."
Bravado Lass and Mahsinger make up Colvin's team in the feature. He said both are kicking their campaigns off and looking for longer.
Colvin is also looking forward to seeing how Nic's Hero performs in a competitive Union Club Hotel Class Three Showcase Handicap (1200m).
"I've got a lot of time for him," he said.
"I wouldn't have hesitated to take him to the Highway but it's a bit of a hassle and this race came up at Wagga and I thought if he's good enough, he'll get another chance to go there.
"t's a good race but it's good. Good, hard racing."
