Officers have released security footage in a public appeal for assistance as part of an investigation into the theft of two cars in the Riverina Police District.

About midnight on August 20, a red Ford Falcon station wagon was stolen from West Street Gundagai.
That vehicle was found by police near Rimmers Bridge in Adelong about 11.30am the next day.
About 6.00am Saturday, a white Toyota Hilux utility was stolen from an address in Adelong, which was also found dumped an hour later near Middleton Drive, Gundagai.
Police would like to speak with a group of people who were recorded on CCTV walking passed Adelong Police Station around 3am on August 21.
Anyone with information about the people in the footage or about the thefts is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
