WAGGA schoolgirl Tessa McGlynn is expected to be the spearhead of Sturt Public School's bid to win the NSW PSSA Softball Championship starting in Sydney tomorrow.A year 5 pupil at Sturt Public, McGlynn was a member of the NSW team that recently won the Australia title. The rising softball star will now play an important role in Sturt Public's bid to capture the NSW crown in Sydney.With McGlynn fresh from collecting a coveted gold medal at the national titles, Sturt Public will be brimming with optimism for the NSW championships.The Sturt Public team, which has already reached the semi-final stage of the championships, will travel to Sydney today before playing tomorrow.
