The Bombers haven't lost a game there since 2016 and the 14.7 (91) to 1.5 (11) win continued a proud record under Shane Lenon.
The coach was pleased with the win but reserved his highest praise for Barellan who - despite struggling for depth at times this year- fielded two grades despite losing seven senior players to the ACT lockdown.
"We played some good footy and Barellan made it hard for us, and made it difficult for us to score," Lenon said.
"I've got to give them a rap. With all their Canberra blokes not playing, they fronted up with good numbers in their seconds and were undermanned in first grade but you've got to take your hat off to them for fronting up and performing the way they did in both grades. They played pretty well.
"I think their coach, Alex Lawder, has done a fantastic job there. I knew he was fair dinkum when he drove from Canberra for the season launch. That showed how committed he was to the league and the club."
Zach Walgers' return was massive for Marrar, kicking five goals and swapping through the middle with Chris O'Donnell.
"Zach's been doing plenty of work by himself and he was in good shape. He could've played the week before the bye but we erred on the side of safety," Lenon said.
"It was great to have him back, he was best man on the ground." Defender Dan O'Bryan also shone.
The Bombers' lead grew steadily across the first three quarters but they kicked away in the last with six unanswered goals.
Darcy McDermott and Shaun Bourchier closed out good years at Barellan with big efforts in their final game.
It's 29 wins in a row at Langtry Oval for Marrar, and the result also stretched their current winning streak to 12 games to lead into a hoped-for finals series.
Lenon says it's worth at least hoping for the best-case scenario - a lifting of the lockdown next Saturday, in which case he would love to see the Farrer League finals kick off next Sunday if at all possible.
