COVID restrictions have again plagued the Thunder, who line up for their first game in a month when they host Tumut at Greenfield Park on Saturday.
While they come into the clash fresh, coach Adrian Purtell expects a tough test.
"It is going to be a challenge for sure as having four weeks off in the middle of the season isn't ideal but everyone is really excited to play," Purtell said. "Everyone wanted to play the other weekend as well so it will be a big challenge for us against Tumut, who are going really well at the moment."
Purtell has made a number of positional switches from their last loss to Temora.
Mason Fuller moving into the centres is the most notable with Curtly Jenkinson shifting from the wing to halfback.
"Things haven't been working for us so it's a matter of mixing things up and giving guys opportunities," Purtell said.
