The removal of Lockhart Shire from the border bubble means the game won't take place at Osborne, leaving club bosses to find an alternative venue.
It's an issue which also impacts round 18, when the Tigers are due to host Culcairn.
"We've got to talk to the O and M," Osborne president Jason Gooden said.
"There's a few grounds available so we've got a few options; Albury Sportsground or Lavington or even somewhere on the border like Howlong.
"We've got some good options so we're not stranded. We're spoilt for choice, really.
"It looks like the O and M will probably get going this weekend but there are grounds available.
"It doesn't matter if we've got to travel somewhere, another half-an-hour in the car, we'd rather go to a good facility.
"We do get a little bit of feedback that Osborne's too far to travel so let's take some bush footy to the city!
"Our Albury-based supporters are yearning for a good game of football and netball.
"Let's hope, whenever we make a decision on a venue, people along the border come and support us because it should be a good day."

Osborne and Holbrook have been head and shoulders above the rest this season and Saturday's clash is shaping as a potential grand final preview.
The Tigers sit top of the ladder with a 100 percent record but Holbrook have won nine in a row since losing the reverse fixture by 51 points back in May.
Both clubs are guaranteed to finish in the top two.
"Changing the shire boundaries doesn't make sense to me but at the same time, we're very happy we can still play football," Gooden added.
"We've got some venue choices and there are some clubs in the Hume league that are very understanding and happy to help us out.
"We're lucky to have crowds at this stage so let's hope that continues.
"It's an understatement that we're disappointed to lose a home game but the fact we can still play football, we're pretty happy with that."
Switching the game to Holbrook was discussed but large parts of the Brookers oval have been turned into a quagmire on the back of consecutive home games and heavy rain.
"We've talked to Osborne and basically left it up to them," Holbrook president David Morton said.
"We'll be happy with whatever they want to do.
"Our ground's not going to be up to standard for the quality of game we want to play."
Meanwhile, the game between Lockhart and Henty will be played at Walbundrie on Saturday.
It's a must-win clash as both clubs battle for a finals spot, sitting level on percentage with each other and fifth-placed Brock-Burrum.
Lockhart also played Murray Magpies at Walbundrie on Saturday, winning by 84 points.
