The Blues slipped to second place after a tight loss to Young last week, however they responded in the most impressive of fashion to extend the winless season of Brothers at Equex Centre on Saturday.
It could have been worse for the Wagga club, with only five of Tumut's tries converted.
Tumut move back around Southcity on points differential heading into their clash on Sunday.
Co-coach Lachlan Bristow was pleased with how his side hit back to step the big clash at Twickenham.
"We obviously wanted to bounce back well from the loss and put in a good performance," Bristow said.
"From the start everyone just turned up, done their job and was very clinical."

Their high completion rate, particularly in the first half, was one of the most pleasing things.
So too was their discipline.
The massive margin sees the Blues just ahead of their closest rivals in the battle for the minor premiership.
Tumut are one of only two sides to get the better of Southcity this season, the other being Gundagai, and
"It's good to be on top and it is in our control," Bristow said.
"We play Southcity next week so it will be huge and essentially we're fighting for that top position so we have a lot to play for now."
Brayden Draber crossed for a hat-trick while Bristow, co-coach Zac Masters and Jed Pearce all scored doubles.
Tumut haven't always shown their best form in games they expect to win.
However Bristow was thrilled with how complete their performance was, especially in the first half.
"The big thing for us is over the last couple of years we always fail to put it together against the teams lower on the ladder," he said.
"To be able to do that means we can take a lot out of it. It feels really good."
In a side full of strong performances, Tolo Aroha-Tuinauvai was one who stood out in the centres for the Blues.
Tumut are also hopeful of having Country representative Ron Leapai back to take on the Bulls after the birth of his son on Saturday.
"Fingers crossed as he's a massive part of our team," Bristow said.
"To get him back for a big clash like this will be awesome but we will wait and see."
Meanwhile Brothers head into the bye before games against Kangaroos and Albury to finish their tough season.
It was the fourth time they've conceded more than 50 points this season but only the second time they failed to score any points.
