It will bring a long-held dream to fruition with the 'Pies holding a day of senior and junior football and netball.
"We've been looking forward to it. It was great that (Jets president) Simon Gaynor approached us and they were happy to do it, it was fantastic," TRYC co-president David Pieper said.
"It'll be a big game for our senior club, and our juniors play Collingullie-Glenfield Park."
There's a full complement of netball, with nine games on the day, plus five games of football (the two clubs don't field football teams in all the same junior age groups).
The feature match promises plenty, with the Northern Jets winning five of seven games since they were beaten by TRYC at Ariah Park, and vastly improved on their 1-and-3 start to the year.
"A stand-alone Sunday game and they're red-hot at the moment, they're going good," said Pieper, who will have an important on-field role in TRYC midfield.
"Our starts were great early in the year but they've been a bit up and down over the last month or six weeks.
"And our last three games, we've played some great footy for two quarters at times. Our third quarter at Barellan (last week) was as good a footy as we've played; the first half against Marrar was really, really good. It's just putting the four quarters together which the good sides do."
TRYC co-coach and forward Heath Russell, who's out with a quad injury, said they respect the Jets, who have named Matt Wallis to return from a knee problem after he missed their 110-point win last week.
"We won't over-hype it but there's a fair chance we might meet again later in the season and they seem to be playing good footy," Russell said.
"They're hitting form at the right time and we've probably been a bit inconsistent. But we're excited for the challenge."
Pieper said the whole club is excited, and seeing their under 13s playing just before reserve grade and juniors being part of the senior day will be well worthwhile.
"They'll be able to hang around for the day, and there'll be jumping castles for the kids. It'll be great for the club," he said.
Adding to the big community aspect, the Magpies are holding plenty of fundraising for former premiership player Marc 'Splinter' Bauer.
A teenage back-flanker in the TRYC's back-to-back flags of 1997 and 1998 (against Ariah Park, in extra time, and then Ardlethan), Bauer was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 42 and the club is getting around him.
The Magpies also have former star Jason Ball joining fellow club legend Aaron de Jong, among others, in the twos on Sundays.
