Hopper had 41 disposals in Greater Western Sydney's agonising one-point loss to Gold Coast Suns at Ballarat last Sunday.
To go with the 41 disposals, Hopper had 12 clearances, 18 contested possessions and 12 inside 50s.
It was enough to earn him eight votes in the AFL Coaches Association Award and, therefore, extend his lead in the Carey Bunton Medal.
The Leeton-Whitton product now leads by 10 votes from Adelaide forward Taylor Walker. Sydney's Callum Mills is just one vote further back in third place.
The Carey Bunton Medal is awarded to the best player from NSW in the AFL. The votes are determined from the AFL Coaches Association weekly votes.
The award is run by the NSW Australian Football History Society, in conjunction with the AFL Coaches Association.
