Tries to Wilson Hamblin and co-coach James Hay had the winless team in front just before half-time.
However injuries took their toll at Harris Park on Saturday.
Brothers finished with only 12 players on the field after Zac Carey was added to their injury list.
It's been a tough season for the club and Hay thought the 60-12 loss was testament to that.
"We only had 12 fresh blokes, with five who played earlier in the day, and we're just feeling the effects of that combined with having to defend for most of the season," Hay said.
"When you defend that much you get more injuries than your share.
"I feel for the boys as they're a young side who are going out every weekend, doing our fair share of defence and not being able to put 80 minutes together on the paddock."
Seb Cottam, Luke Gladman, Mitch McCauley and Carey all failed to play out the game.
Brothers will face another tough clash against Gundagai on Sunday.
