THERE has been a mixed reaction at South Wagga Public School over the launch of the My School website.None of the 10 parents surveyed yesterday by The Daily Advertiser had visited the site and equal numbers said they did or didn't plan to in the future. All agreed that it would be curiosity that led them to visit South Wagga Public on My School.Mother of three, Caroline Lowrey, admitted she hadn't seen the website yet but would definitely visit it."I am interested to see it. I think it's a great thing, maybe it will make the less conscientious schools become a little more conscientious," she said.Evan Robertson, father of four, said he had heard about it but was yet to search for Wagga schools' results because he doesn't think it does the schools justice."I wouldn't make a decision about the school from the website. It wouldn't make us change schools," he said.Melanie Heine thinks the site is unnecessary and hasn't felt the need to search school results online."I am not interested at all. It shouldn't affect a decision on where to send kids," she said.
