Here is a list of activities, all in one place, which might make it a bit easier to fend off any holiday boredom.
Make sure you are up-to-date on the rules for wearing masks and practise social distancing.
1. Take advantage of the ice rink
Have a spin around on the ice! A pop-up, outdoor ice rink is open at the Victory Memorial Gardens until July 11.
The 25-metre by 15-metre ice rink was launched as part of Lost Lanes, but will remain open for families to enjoy during the school holidays.
Skate sessions are from 10am to 8pm and for ages two years and up.

2. Get creative
Encourage your children to get in touch with their creative side with various art programs running in Wagga.
Art for All Holiday Program
Presented by local artist Kathryn Powderly, the classes run weekdays with twice-daily sessions.
Head along and enjoy creating a mini garden, tie-dying t-shirts, or perhaps constructing a mosaic butterfly or owl.

Winter Art Camp
The Wagga Art Gallery's school holiday program is back this winter with eight creative and curious workshops exploring the world of contemporary art-making.
Painting, screen printing and sculpture-making are just some of the techniques participants can learn, with a range of workshops for children, teens and families.

3. Go for a horse ride
The team at Belisi Equine Park promise an exciting and engaging educational activity for your children offered in a safe, fun environment.
No riding experience is required.
The program offers lots of activities, including horse safety, horse care and horse riding. It is suitable for those with some riding experience, as we modify the format to suit the needs of our students.

4. Become a pro at tennis
South Wagga Tennis Club is running two camps this school holidays for the keen learner to the mini-pros who love the game.
There are the options to book in for all four days or the camp or for just one.

5. Walk with wombats
Visit the zoo these holidays and meet Russell, the baby wombat and Kieran, the baby swamp wallaby.
These two are holding meet and greet sessions every day at 10am and 2pm.
Russell takes a daily constitutional around the zoo wearing his special harness with one of our zoo curators firmly holding the end. Stop to say hello as you explore and meet all the animals that call it home.
The zoo is open from 9am to 4pm every day from until July 12, and it's free.
6. Go on a day trip
When you need a break but don't have the dosh or the time, there are plenty of destinations close to Wagga.
If you want to save your hard-earned money while still feeling like you've hit the reset button on life, venture off on one of these short day trips that are guaranteed to impress.
