Temora's Liam Martin and Young's Angus Crichton both came off the bench in the 26-0 win over Queensland.
Martin was part of both wins, after making his debut coming off the bench in the 50-6 thrashing earlier this month, while Crichton made a big impact after missing the first game due to suspension.
Crichton made 16 tackles and 11 runs for 90 metres in his 41-minute stint.
Martin was given 27 minutes by coach Brad Fittler and made 14 tackles and four runs for 33 metres as the Blues took an unassailable lead in the series.
Sydney is set to host the final game of the series on July 14, but Newcastle is considered a frontrunner if the game needs to be moved due to COVID-19 restrictions.
