The former Junee driver combined with New Zealand trainer Nathan Purdon to take out the group three mares feature on the card.
Spellbound continued her excellent run of form since coming to Australia as she clocked a mile rate of 1:50.1.
The 24-year-old was thrilled to pick up the drive after COVID-19 restrictions prevented regular reinsman Stuart McDonald from making the trip.
"It was a little bit unexpected but a big thrill to get a win on her," Hart said.
With Purdon already in Queensland, Hart was left in charge of the mare's final preparations.
The win adds to what the 24-year-old rates as her best season yet.
Meanwhile Rubies For Tash finished last in the four-horse race, beaten 9.2 metres.
However after sustaining a quarter crack she will return to owner and breeders Bruce and Tash Harpley, who will weigh up her racing feature.
Rubies For Tash has won three of her last seven starts and has been placed on two occasions.
