An elderly man has died in hospital a week after being hit by a car at a Wagga pedestrian crossing.

About 5.50pm on June 17, police were called to Bourke Street, Tolland, after reports a Mitsubishi Triton had hit a pedestrian.
Officers from Riverina Police District attended and commenced inquiries.
An 83-year-old man suffered a fractured pelvis and facial injuries and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Wagga Base Hospital.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He was later airlifted to St George Hospital for further treatment but succumbed to his injuries and died just after 5pm on Thursday.
The driver of the ute, a 35-year-old man, was not injured and was taken to Wagga Base Hospital for mandatory testing. The passengers, two men - aged 23 and 19 - were not injured.
Police are still investigating the incident.
