Police have seized a gun, and illegal drugs from a Wagga home as part of a widespread investigation into the supply of prohibited substances.

About 8.40am on Wednesday, the Riverina Proactive Crime Team executed a search warrant at unit on Geneva Crescent, Lake Albert.
During the search, officers located methamphetamines, cannabis leaf and prescription medication. They also seized a .22 calibre rifle, a replica firearm, fireworks, and electronic storage devices.

The items are set to undergo a forensic examination.
A statement from NSW Police said that investigations are continuing, but they expect charges to be laid in the future.
