A rescue helicopter was dispatched to Old Tumbarumba Road about five kilometres north of Batlow at 11:10pm.
A NSW Ambulance Service spokesman said the sole occupant of a Toyota Hilux, a male aged in his thirties, was treated by paramedics after being found unconscious at the scene.
"His car had hit a tree and flipped. He was ejected," the spokesman said.
The man was flown to Canberra Hospital on a helicopter that departed the scene just after 1am on Sunday.
The Batlow incident follows a tragic Queen's Birthday weekend on the Riverina's highways that saw two lives lost in two separate crashes around Wagga.
