'Dipper' and Cassidy will be guest speakers at the Wagga All Star Sports Dinner, hosted by the Good Blokes Society, at the William Farrer Hotel.
DiPierdomenico is a five-time premiership player at Hawthorn and won the 1986 Brownlow Medal.
Cassidy rode 104 group one wins and is a member of the Australian Racing Hall of Fame.
Both are known as two of the great characters in their sporting field and are looking forward to the Wagga event.
"We tell our own story," DiPierdomenico said.
"It's not all clear sailing, twenty-six operations later for me. Jimmy's fallen off that many horses. But there will be some fun stories, some good stories but it's all about connecting and making sure that you're able to open up."
DiPierdomenico is a co-founder of Good Blokes Society, that is looking to launch a presence in Wagga after establishing itself in Melbourne, Sydney and Wagga.
The organisation's purpose is to provide men with a support network with the aim to create positive business and social relationships.
'Dipper' said the Good Blokes Society not only provides great experiences but also serves an important purpose.

"We got together through the love of horses, the love of sport, the love of business and that and said if you are a good bloke bring them along and that's how it all started," he said.
"We're really excited about the fact we're coming up to Wagga. We're in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane now but the whole idea is we have lunches together, we talk about everything, mental health, introduce people to people, it's been really successful and even if someone needs some help there's always someone to put their hand up. It's great.
"Coming from a sport background, you depend on people around you. You know what it's like, you hear those words 'it's yours Dipper, well you don't question it, you just do it because you've got trust in people. That's what I love about getting guys together, that locker room banter that we have. This one is bring a good bloke, bring 10 good blokes and I'm sure there is a few up that way."
Tom Maguire is the instigator of the Wagga event and has nothing but praise for his experiences with the Good Blokes Society.
Tickets are $175 for an individual and include a three-course meal, drinks and the entertainment.
Tickets can be purchased by Maguire on 0428 643 139 or through www.goodblokessociety.com.au
