Heading north for her attempt at the group one feature next month, Sporty Dancer proved too good in a three-year-old feature.
Sitting behind the leader after drawing barrier one for new trainer Shannon Price, Sporty Dancer stormed home via the sprint lane to set a new best mile rate of 1:53.1.
Sporty Dancer has now won five of her last six starts.
Todd Prest sent the filly to Queensland early and believes her latest performance shows she can compete at the top level.
"She did it pretty easy in the end," Prest said.
"I think she showed on the weekend we just need a little bit of luck with the draws and we'll see how we go."
Sporty Dancer heads to the group three Redcliffe Oaks next week.

HY VOLTAGE produced a big display to win his first start for new trainer Jason Grimson.
In his first start since leaving Darryl Perrot, Hy Voltage produced a 25.3 seconds first quarter but still had enough left in the tank to win at Menangle on Saturday.
Clocking a new best mile rate of 1:51.3, the three-year-old made it three wins from his last four starts.
It was part of a double for the former Young trainer with Riverina-owned horses as The Stunning Nun made it four wins on the trot in the mares race.
She broke the 1:50 barrier, clocking a mile rate of 1:49.7, as she dominated her rivals.
Former Junee reinsman Cameron Hart took out the feature race on the card, picking up the drive on Allstarzzz Frankie in the group three Tatlow Stakes for Steve Turnbull.

BLAKE Micallef is back in the gig after bringing up his 100th career win earlier this month.
The 22-year-old brought up the centenary with a second leg of a double at Young on June 4 before spending a week on the sidelines.
After winning earlier on the night with Uroc Skinny Jeans, Micallef again combined with Rick Burnett to win with Belubula Way.
"It was real good, especially seeing it was at Young on the home track," Micallef said.
The milestone win means Micallef can now only claim three national ratings points.
