Two people are facing commercial drug supply charges as a Riverina crackdown on the trafficking of illicit substances continues.

A woman and her male passenger were stopped in Beelbangera, around eight kilometres from Griffith, by Murrumbidgee Police District's proactive crime team and detectives in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The black Mitsubishi Lancer was searched after police pulled the vehicle over around 4.45am, with the 31-year-old woman behind the wheel.

The search allegedly revealed more than 280 grams of methylamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $140,000, as well as three mobile phones and a stash of cash totalling $1150.
Police said the woman and her 30-year-old passenger were travelling from the Goulburn area, bringing with them the "significant quantity" of meth.
Both were taken to Griffith police station and charged with supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug. The driver was also charged with drug possession.
They were refused bail and due to face Griffith Local Court on Monday.
Strike Force Warrul was established in early 2021 to target the supply of drugs in Griffith.
