The Blues jumped out to a 36-0 lead at Nixon Park on Saturday as they ran riot against Temora.
They scored the first nine tries of the game before Drew Robinson crossed for a consolation effort to get the Dragons on the board.
While the second half didn't follow suit, Blues co-coach Lachlan Bristow was thrilled with how Tumut started the clash.
"It was easily our best half of the year," Bristow said.
"We did everything we spoke about - our ball control was awesome, we got to our kicks, had energy and managed to pile on a few points."
Their defence in the 48-4 victory also pleased.
However Bristow admitted the side struggled to regain the momentum in a much more dour second half.
"A lot of it went our way in the first half but the game was sealed anyway," he said.
Webb injured his shoulder scoring a try in the first half.
Tumut head into the general bye with just the one loss.
