With the game officially moving from Melbourne to Townsville on Monday, there's been plenty of calls between mum Maxine and his three siblings to ensure they've got everything sorted to be in the stands.
"The kids keep ringing saying the price is going up, the price is going up so it's been a bit of a hassle in a way," mum Maxine said.
However money isn't a factor to ensure the family is on hand to support the 24-year-old Temora junior.
"Absolutely not," Maxine said.
"We're all coming from different spaces but I know it will be wonderful. I'm so excited and so proud of him."

It's been a whirlwind few days for Martin, who thought he'd missed his chance.
However an injury to Tyson Frizell on Sunday paved the way for the Penrith forward to get the call he'd been waiting for from Blues coach Brad Fittler.
Some quick packing later and Martin was on his way to Coogee to join the Blues camp.
"It really is a dream come true and Liam was just so excited last night when we spoke to him," Maxine said.
"I just said it's an opportunity and this is how life rolls sometimes.
"It just meets you and you just have to go with it. Sometimes it doesn't always happen but when it does you just take it with both hands.
"It was a late call up, and he was frantically packing, but he was so excited."
Martin is one of three debutants in the side, along with Panthers teammates Brain To'o and Jarome Luai.
With Nathan Cleary in the halves and Isaah Yeo at lock there is a big Penrith contingent. It makes it more special.
"To be playing with his teammates, and those boys have played together for a long time, so to be representing at the next level is a dream come true," Maxine said.
Martin will become the second Temora product to play State Of Origin, following in the footsteps of first cousin Trent Barrett.
Barrett was among the first to call on Sunday night.
"He said to enjoy the week and that it's one of the best feelings ever, running out for NSW," Martin told NRL.com.
