Berry was issued with three charges stemming from his remarks towards Prentice at Wagga on March 31.
It was found Berry acted in an abusive manner and made obscene, offensive, threatening and abusive comments about Prentice.
Berry was also charged with failing to comply with a stewards order with the three month disqualification to be served cumulatively to the two years and six months disqualification issued over the first three charges.
As Berry had a 12-month suspended sentence on the condition of good behaviour from an earlier inquiry it was also activated.
His penalty has been backdated to begin on March 31.
